Fulvic Acid For Skin The Hidden Detoxifier
To combat a myriad of skin issues, fulvic acid for the skin may be the answer. While fulvic acid is relatively new to the western skincare scene, fulvic acid has been a staple in traditional Indian medicine (“Ayurveda”) for roughly 3000 years. Typically ingested as a supplement capsule or even in the form of a tar-like substance known as Shilajit resin, fulvic acid helps the body’s cells absorb and use antioxidants and electrolytes. When applied topically in skincare ingredients, fulvic acid can manage skin irritation and acne. It can also benefit those who need long-term daily applications for eczema or additional chronic skin conditions (1).

What is Fulvic Acid?
Fulvic acid is one of two classes of humic acid, (2) organic compounds found in the earth’s soils, rock sediments, and water bodies. Derived from plants and natural substances, fulvic acid is essentially the “end product” of nature’s recycling process of all once-living matter. It is a supercharged substance full of nutrients and minerals that can be essential in delivering vital nutrients, trace minerals, and vitamins to your cells when used in a skincare regime.
Fulvic acid for the skin also dissolves and transports vitamins, co-enzymes, hormones, and natural antibiotics across the cells. It makes nutrients available to the skin allowing for deep penetration. With its thousands of active microorganisms, this humic substance possesses an astringent effect on skin that cleanses, tightens pores, reduces oily secretions, combats itch, and irritation. (3)
The appearance of acne, eczema, or inflammation to the skin can wreak havoc on the dermis and cause the person suffering from these skin conditions, both physical and emotional discomfort. Fulvic acid for acne or other skin abnormalities can help the skin to regain its original luster and health.
Fulvic Acid For Skin – Acne
Almost everyone has experienced Acne within their lives to some varying degree or another. From the occasional or persistent breakout, acne can be both painful and embarrassing. Many people unknowingly turn to over-processed soaps and lotions that create additional PH disturbances that lead to continued facial discomfort and irritation (4).
Breakouts can occur for various reasons, from hormone fluctuation to diet and overuse of the wrong products. Using fulvic acid for acne works by adding additional acidity in your skin routine and provides additional defenses, your skin needs to combat damaging free radicals and harmful microbes that can damage the dermis.
Since the skin’s natural PH level is acidic, harsh chemical washes or lotions can throw the natural PH levels out of balance. This causes the skin to become dry, irritated and may increase problematic skin. Using products with fulvic acid for acne can help restore your skin’s natural PH levels, protect your skin from free radicals, reduce fine lines, and prevent future breakouts.
Benefits of Fulvic Acid – To Repair and Protect Your Skin
While the anecdotal evidence is strong that fulvic acid for the skin can do wonderful things, the science behind it is trying to catch up. Recent studies have uncovered that fulvic acid for the skin can help protect, repair, and treat wounds or irritations on the skin. With its low PH score, fulvic acid for the skin has significantly reduced symptoms associated with eczema and other skin conditions (6).
These other skin conditions, such as exposure to poison oak, poison ivy, athlete’s foot, or viral skin conditions, have been eased through the topical use of fulvic acid. Some research has begun to identify that fulvic acid on the skin helps speed up the healing process for fresh wounds, burns, bruises, cuts, or an array of bug bites. (7)
How Fulvic Acid Works
Fulvic acid is a supplement made for human consumption. It can be derived as a liquid form and also as a solid mineral substance. What is unique to fulvic acid in relation to other humic substances is that it is easily transferable through cellular membranes. This means that when ingested or applied topically, fulvic acid can be easily and quickly absorbed into the body and also helps boost the assimilation of other nutrients or supplements.
Does fulvic acid really work?
Fulvic acid is also a very powerful natural antioxidant and free radical scavenger. It scavenges heavy metals and detoxifies pollutants, helping to correct and restore cell imbalances. It has a unique ability to react with both negatively and positively charged unpaired electrons, which renders free radicals harmless. (8)
Fulvic Acid and Everyday Essence Skin Care

The western beauty industry is changing, and while science has yet to catch up with the benefits of fulvic acid completely, 3,000 years of use and evidence suggest just how amazing fulvic acid can be. By swapping your chemical products for this all-natural, plant-based elixir, you can help reduce the appearance of acne, eczema, and irritation on the skin. The use of fulvic acid for acne or other skin abnormalities can help your skin to regain its original luster and health.
Shilajit for Skincare – Does Your Regimen Include This Powerful Phytocomplex?

When we think about our favorite skincare products and how they came about, we often picture scientists in clean white lab coats, in a sterile room, surrounded by beakers, petri dishes and an array of brightly colored chemicals and compounds. But, this isn’t that type of article. We are here to talk about the nitty gritty, the process, the origin of shilajit – a sticky, tar-like substance which is one of Mother Nature’s most powerful compounds. Shilajit is backed by science to help with a myriad of ailments and skin conditions, but we’ll get to that in a bit. Right now, it’s time for us to strap on our hiking boots and dawn our warmest parka, because we’re bound for the Himalayas, where it all began…
Where does Shilajit come from?

Shilajit can be found in the caves and crevices of towering mountain slopes throughout India, China, Central Asia, Iran and a few other Arabian countries. According to the oldest records available to us, Shilajit has been used as a medicine for the past 5,000 years in India and the Himalayan mountains. To this day, most Shilajit is painstakingly harvested from the Himalayan and Altai Mountains. In the year 1870, British explorer, Sir Martin Edward Stanley observed that monkeys in the Himalayan mountains appeared to remain healthy and agile in their old age, unlike their counterparts from Europe. The monkeys were seen scraping a black, tar-like substance off the side of the mountain rocks and regularly snacking on it. The local indigenous people confirmed that this substance was Shilajit and they believed that it was responsible for the monkey’s good health.
What is shilajit?
Shilajit, also known as Shilajeet comes from the Sanskrit compound word shilajatu meaning “rock-tar”, which is the regular Ayurveda term. It is believed that shilajit was formed by the decomposition of plants from tiny microorganisms over centuries and even millions of years. It can be found clinging to the side of boulders and dark crevices. Once the sun hits it, it begins to melt, making it easier to be harvested and cleaned of impurities for human consumption.
Health benefits backed by science.
The primary compounds found in shilajit are humic acid and fulvic acid along with 85 ionic vitamins and minerals. Humic acid was previously shown to enhance cutaneous wound healing and show antibacterial properties, but a recent study focused on wound healing in the oral cavity and it resulted in a statistically significant enhanced rate of wound closure when treated with humic acid. Shilajit has also been used as a treatment for genitourinary diseases, diabetes, digestive disorders, nervous diseases, tuberculosis, chronic bronchitis, asthma, anemia, eczema, bone fractures, and other diseases due to the concentrated fulvic acid found in shilajit. According to the National Institute of Health, recent investigations suggest that shilajit can improve cognitive disorders associated with aging, thus paving the way for potential shilajit therapy in Alzheimer’s patients. Shilajit is completely safe to ingest daily as a dietary supplement and has been used for centuries in Asia to treat a myriad of ailments and improve overall vitality and quality of life.

Itchy, Scaly, Dry Skin – How To Treat Eczema Naturally
Eczema and Psoriasis seem to be one issue that just isn’t going away. I’ve watched clients, family members, and friends struggle with these skin issues for decades. While many doctors say that food allergies play a part; others will tell you that food elimination diets didn’t always rid them of the issue. Recently, new drugs have been released to help combat “break outs” and control the immune system. While these drugs could help to control the issue, they come with some pretty horrible side affects. This article will show you how to treat eczema naturally.
*Note: some of the information in this article is based on my views and observations over the decades.
There is no shortage of creams, steroids, and natural aids to help with eczema and psoriasis. But do they work? The consensus from friends and family is that they may stop it from getting worse but it doesn’t “fix” the issue. I’ve created the “Healing Matrix (TM).” Which addresses the main issues associated with skin recovery and eczema.

How to Treat Eczema Naturally
1.) Moisture – Keep the skin the flexible using natural oils such as coconut oil, olive oil, and shea butter.
2.) Irritation – Fight bacteria and fungus with essential oils such as lavender.
3.) Skin Renewal – Recover and rebuild – calendula oil, has the ability to speed up healing, boost collagen levels, and seal the surface of the skin to lock out germs and bacteria.
4.) Inflamation – Allow the body to recover without re-injuring the skin. Symphytum Officinale can combat inflamation at a fast rate! It also helps to stimulate cell growth so that skin can heal faster.
You will never lose if you treat all of these at once! Be patient with the natural process. In most cases, irritation on a joint such as the knees and elbows will take longer to heal. Chances are that’s a thicker, rougher patch of skin with more healing to do.
Irritation on the face, head, and neck areas tends to heal much quicker.
Moisturize Moisturize Moisturize
Sound simple right? Wrong. Most people are moisturizing with things that are packed full of chemicals. Ditch the fake body butters and creams and switch to all natural sources. Shea butter, Coconut oil, and even Olive oil can be great ways to get the moisture back into the skin.
Apply your choice of moisturizers right out of the shower. Allow them to sink into the skin, then dab off the excess with a paper towel.
Natural Antibacterial Options
Coconut oil and olive oil are two great options for skin issues because they contain natural antibacterial fighting properties.
Other options relate to natural essential oils.
- Frankincense
- Lavender
- Citrus Essential Oils
- Oregano
Are all good options to naturally fight bacterial that can cause redness, itching, and irritation on the surface of the skin.
Fit Tip: These oils also work well for acne and blemishes. My personal favorite for healing and antibacterial properties is lavender.

Avoid the Itch!
It’s easy to say, hard to do. Eczema treatments always have an “anti itch” ingredient added because the companies know it’s one of the most irritating issues associated with this skin.
Calming oils such as peppermint help to cool the heat of the skin while an herb such as chickweed can keep the irritation levels low. Chickweed without alcohol is the best option, since alcohol leads to access drying.
Can eczema be treated naturally? The answer is an astounding YES. We’ve spent hours creating a powerful organic eczema cream to address all of the issue listed above. Our powerful natural eczema cream comes in two formulas, our original Skin Therapy and our Skin Therapy Silver. The silver formula is our colloidal silver eczema cream. Both have powerful antibacterial properties, moisturizing oils, herb combinations to fight itch and sooth skin, and healing herbs to boost collagen.
Ditch the drugs, the steroids, the smelly creams and trade up for a natural combination that addresses all of the main points in the healing matrix. Nature takes time, but it’s worth it!
